July 17- Just got back to Texas after 10 days in Colorado.  I wondered how hard it would be to come back to the heat and my home here but it was easy.  Luna is such a joy and so smart.  I really missed her, she would have had so much fun in the mountains but no dogs allowed in the condo.  It was really hard to breathe in the altitude.  In the past I had a little trouble but it was really bad this time so will probably ask the doctor if there is anything I can do to make it easier. 

Now I need to get busy losing weight, getting stronger and getting crafty.  Also have to get in touch with the family I want to help and get started on that so I can make some extra money.

Enough for now.  

July 1st and we've had 4 days of 100+ temps.  Not looking forward to any more.  Colorado is hot also. 

Tis May Tis May the Lusty Month of May.  Song from Camelot is always my start to May.  When I lived in the North country May was my favorite month.  The snow was gone, the trees were budding out, the grass was green, the flowers were coming up it was beautiful.  Here it looks like April will be the best month.  Bugs, bugs everywhere, not a plant is safe.  Hopefully a little spray will help.

April Showers Bring Mosquitos

Having family over Saturday evening so need to KILL a bunch of mosquitoes. Who knew mosquitoes was es wish I knew the rule governing that. 
Working on a lot of knitting.  Finished two scarves and one hat.  Why do you change the f to a ves?  I love English. 
Started another scarf (notice the f) but it seems too wide so may frog it and start over, the yarn cost $18 so need to do something that will justify the cost.

Spring Fever

Learning what are weeds and what are flowers or ground cover in my yard.  If it's covering the whole ground it must be a ground cover even if it's listed as a weed or maybe not.  It has flowers and pretty spiky things.  Must be beneficial to the lawn.  Thought we had monkey grass but we have something else that I can't pronounce.   So be it for today.
